Comité de Concertation Permanent

Comité de Concertation Permanent (CCP)—more rarely referred to as the Standing Concertation Committee (SCC)—is a formal joint consultation body that deals with employment, working conditions, and staff policy at CERN.
Its purpose is to ensure that staff are informed, consulted, and able to express views on matters affecting their employment.
The CCP discusses issues such as:
- Staff rules and regulations
- Conditions of employment (salaries, benefits, contracts, working time, leave, etc.)
- Changes to personnel policy
- Social and welfare matters affecting staff
- Implementation or revision of HR policies
It does not negotiate collective agreements in the trade-union sense, but it provides structured consultation before management decisions are finalized.
The management representatives are appointed by CERN, while the staff representatives are nominated by the Staff Association.
