Álvaro de Rújula y Alguer, XII marqués de Ciadoncha (Madrid, 29 January1944) is a Spanish theoretical physicist.[1]
From February 1969 to September 1971, he carried out his first collaboration with CERN as a visiting scientist. He was a staff member from 1977 to 2009, and from 1996 to 1999 he served as leader of the Theory Division.
