Gabriel Tortella (*1940 in in the Abruzzo region of Italy; †2011 in Denia, Spain) was a well-known figure in the French watchmaking press, and legend at CERN as he originally came to Geneva to manage the gastronomical entity of the laboratory.[1]
Leon Lederman convinced Bob Wilson to hire Tortella as a consultant to Fermilab to improve the catering service at the laboratory.[2][3]
