Niels Bohr (bust)
In the early evening of 19 June 1963[1], a short ceremony to the memory of Niels Bohr was held in the upper foyer of the CERN Administration building. The occasion was the unveiling by the President of the CERN Council , Mr . J . Willems , of a bust of Prof. Bohr, the work of the sculptor H. Isenstein. Present at the ceremony were the Danish physicist's widow, Mrs . Margrethe Bohr, and his son, Prof. Aage Bohr, as well as many members of CERN.
The bust is today (2025) located in the reading room of the CERN Library, building 52/1-052.
